To vote, submit a product, or post a review, you authenticate securely via our passwordless magic links. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

• You must provide an active, valid email address that belongs to you.
• You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
• You may not register under a false identity, use disposable inbox domains, or attempt to access another user's account or session.

LaunchNest organizes fortnightly, head-to-head product tournaments. To keep the arena fair, we enforce anti-gaming rules:

Anti-Sybil Rules: Automated click bots, paid vote networks, fake voting arrays, or spoofed browser sessions are strictly forbidden. We monitor voting telemetry for abuse.

Where we reasonably believe voting has been manipulated in connection with a product, we may:

• Audit and remove suspicious votes.
• Disqualify the product from the current tournament cycle.
• Remove the product and, in serious or repeated cases, restrict the associated account from the directory.

You keep ownership of the content you submit — product details, logos, screenshots, and reviews ("Your Content"). By submitting it, you grant LaunchNest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services.

• You confirm you have the rights to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• You can edit or request removal of your listings and reviews at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us.
• This licence ends when you remove Your Content, except for copies retained for legal, backup, or audit purposes for a reasonable period.

You agree not to use the Services to submit, post, or link to content that:

• Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Contains malware, phishing, or links to malicious or deceptive destinations;
• Is sexual, hateful, harassing, or promotes violence or discrimination;
• Attempts to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Services or their security.

Listing on LaunchNest is free. We also offer optional paid placements — Featured (pinned in the directory) and Spotlight (a slot in the homepage grid).

• One-time payments: Placements are one-time purchases for a fixed duration (for example, 7, 15, 30, or 90 days). They are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew — nothing is billed again unless you buy another placement.
• Payment processing: Payments are handled by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles applicable taxes (including EU VAT). We do not store your card details.
• Content standards: Sponsored titles, images, and URLs must follow the acceptable-use rules above. We may decline or remove a placement that breaches them, and will refund the unused portion where we do so.
• Refunds: If a placement is not delivered as described, you are entitled to a remedy or refund under applicable law. This is in addition to the EU/UK withdrawal right in Section 6 below.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services without giving a reason, and receive a refund.

Because a placement goes live immediately, by starting it during the 14-day period you ask us to begin performance and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the placement has been fully delivered. If you cancel while it is still partly running, we will refund the portion not yet delivered. To cancel, email support@launchnest.io.

If you believe a listing, review, or other content on LaunchNest is illegal or infringes your rights, please tell us. Use our report form or email support@launchnest.io with a link to the content, an explanation of why it is unlawful, and your contact details.

We review reports promptly and may remove or disable access to content, notify the person who posted it, and act on repeated abuse. This is our point of contact and notice mechanism under the EU Digital Services Act.

The LaunchNest name, logo, site design, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the Services except as expressly permitted. Third-party product names and logos shown in listings belong to their respective owners.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that product metrics, descriptions, ratings, or links posted by users are accurate or up to date; you rely on them at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchNest is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including the mandatory statutory rights of consumers in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions.

You may stop using the Services and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Services unlawfully, giving notice where reasonably practicable. Any active paid placement's unused portion will be refunded where we terminate without cause.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of establishment, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence. We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the new version here with an updated date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
